New Release -Take Time to Scrapbook

There is a new release this week, in the Take Time series- Take Time to Scrapbook. It is a charming addition to the take time series and it has 2 different colourways to do it in. The thread pack will carry enough threads to do both pieces in whatever colourway you choose, either teal or purple. I did it on 35 count but had my stitcher do a second on 32 count and it looks just as good. The fun will be for you to pick out your picture to put in the piece. It is a nice way to share both your passions if you love to stitch and love to scrapbook, but also great for a friend who is a scrapbooker. Enjoy! Hope you are enjoying your summer whatever you may be up to.... I am enjoying the new office immensely! It is such a treat to be in a space that fits. I still have to find a spot for some things.... and want to hang up my pictures but mostly it is done.

We are working on getting things together for the next chapter -can you believe it! I feel like I just shipped the last one! But we are.... and so chapter 7 -Rhodes Rhapsody will be ready by mid Aug. - so look for it to come. I am hopeful that I will have one more release - around mid Sept. but I will keep you waiting - we shall see if it can all come together.

Summer 09

The longest day of the year just passed us.... summer is here! In the cooler climes we really look forward ot it. My recovery is in full swing and I am finally feeling more like myself. It was a haul and now I have to do it again in November for the other knee.... I am not looking forward to it needless to say.We have shipped out Hungarian Harmony last week to all - look for it soon to come in the mail. Mail is an event in this house, our Wheaton Terrier Cleo informs us everyday when "Randy' our postman delivers. She goes bananas and then we know to check for mail. With both my husband and myself with home businesses the mail box is full.Then Cleo has to inform us when the postal truck stops with packages. It is a ruckus every time. I think she totally scares the poor children who drop off flyers at the house weekly. I guess it is that terrier thing. I hope you enjoy your next chapter -Chapter 6 -Hungarian Harmony. The greens and purples are just a beautiful blend, me who likes reds and browns, really enjoyed this page to my surprise. Those of you who love these colours will enjoy the colour play. Moving and Recovering

I finally feel back in the land of the living. It has been a few hard weeks. The surgery went well, I am walking without aids, the knee looks good. The only thing was - I got an infection in hospital and battled that as well for the past few weeks and it was stubborn and made me feel miserable, but we seem to have found the right antibiotic and I seem to be on the mend.In all that the girls also moved me back into my newly renovated space. And space is the word, it is just terrific, we finally have space. We have to sort ourselves out yet and figure where is best for this or that but the computers are in and running and so are the threads and patterns..... the rest well suffice it to say I seem to have alot of fabric and thread! I just have to do some proof editing of Take time to Scrapbook to get it ready to print and we will try to release it the middle of the month. Also I am looking at the week of the 15th of June for shipping Chapter 6 - Hungarian Harmony to you all. If there were items that you needed or questions please don't hesitate to ask.
