Leaving the cold....

After a furious couple of weeks post Nashville Needlework Market, I am making new piles for the event in Florida, and it's not scarves and touques! What a treat to be going to a warm place after this week of very cold temperatures. My friend knit this little neck scarf for me for Christmas and that thing has been invaluable. For some reason it keeps you warm and cozy through and through. Thanks Margot! I love it. So ladies for this weekend, remember your scissors and needles! Your light and/or magnification. A pen or pencil, paper if you like to take some notes. The threads are all on a floss card and labelled but little bags if you like to have your threads in that. Stretcher bars - the piece is 7 x 9 1/2" or so. And a sprinkle of humour and fun and we're good to go. My flight is direct Calgary - Orlando so no layovers or weather to cramp the travelling, that does not happen very often, I'm thrilled. Looking forward to seeing you all. Cathy at Needlecraft World has been busy getting ready and my boxes arrived so we have the kits! See you soon!
